Welcome to Covert Action -
Live Music!
Covert Action Band Exiting the Stage
To 30 years of our fans and friends,
Where do we even start? We have watched you raise your
families, and watched many of your children begin raising
their families. You have watched us raise our families,
and prayed for us along the way. For your friendship and
your support, we are forever blessed, grateful and forever
changed.
Thirty years ago, our father started what would become a
three-decade-long legacy of joy, hard work, and tradition
that became our way of life. We didn’t know any different,
and we loved it! You all have followed us through three
decades of music changes, equipment and wardrobe
malfunctions, leadership changes, crazy hats and different
events. You have endured some of the most wicked summer
lightning and winter snow storms with us, helping us
protect our equipment and each other. You have supported
charities and fire companies, communities and
organizations, to come watch us jump around on stage and
have a great time with you.
You have prayed for our health, prayed to heal us,
provided for us, laughed with us, cried with us, fixed
broken hearts with us, and held our hands through some of
the hardest times in some of our lives. You are the reason
we have been successful for thirty years. You are what we
will miss when this is all said and done. And you are what
makes all these years of dedication worth it. We will miss
every ounce of every connection we share with you all. And
we will miss your beautiful faces.
We have collectively decided this 30th year will be our
last. And New Year’s Eve will be our final performance
together as ‘Covert Action’. This decision was not easy to
make, but it's time for us to take a break. Our families
are growing, and the demand of being wonderful parents and
grandparents has called us in a different direction.
Thank you just doesn’t seem like enough. God has certainly
blessed us with something most people never get the
privilege of experiencing, and for that, we are forever
grateful. Thank you for your love and support. Our Dad
would be so proud of each of you, and the joy you bring to
each of us. He loved you all more than you will ever know.
We hope you’ll come see us once again before 2016 rolls
around... We would love to play your favorite song just
one more time!
Goodbye seems so final, so we’d prefer to say ‘See you
later, Covert Action Fans!’.
